Our Web Enabled Meter is a
revenue grade ANSI C12.20 compliant meter (0.2% accuracy) that integrates
highly accurate electric metering and measurement and a sophisticated network
module which enables an Internet based advanced metering solution. Our IP
enabled electric meter uses the latest technology to deliver unrivaled
benefits. Our meters are calibrated using the RFL 5800 which is certified to
NIST standards and is calibrated periodically to ensure the highest accuracy of
our meters. Our web enabled meter is also UL Listed for both USA and Canada.
The MX complies with US FCC regulations and has also passed the European EMC
testing and certification and is ROHS compliant.
TÜV Rheinland of North America, a world leader in compliance testing and
certification has independently validated that the WEM-MX meter complies with
the requirements of ANSI C12.20 Class 0.2 (0.2% accuracy) and Watt Hour
Accuracy Testing.
Internet Features
This smart electric meter has been designed to work over any Internet, LAN or
WAN connection. Using any Internet browser, users have instant access to the
advanced features of this IP electric meter through its built-in web server.
Any ethernet connection will work with the electric meter. Network firewall
restrictions that too often limit Internet devices are easily overcome using
the email, ftp, SOAP Web Service client or via ModBus TCP/IP server built into
the electric meter's software. Sometimes providing a dedicated external IP
address is not possible. This may prevent access to its web server from outside
the local network. In such a case, the IP electric meter can be setup to
periodically send email reports and/or update load profile data to any ftp
server or SOAP WebServices. Communicating with multiple IP electric meters is
as simple as connecting them to a tcp/ip network.

Measurement FeaturesThis
advanced electric meter incorporates all of the power measurements one would
expect in an advanced solid state energy meter.
This versatile four quadrant electric meter measures phase voltage, amps,
frequency, true power, reactive power, apparent power and power factor. In
addition, peak demand and summation data supports typical time-of-use tariff.
This meter accepts external CT's with a 5 Amp secondary. Optionally, a meter
that accepts 333mV secondary is also available. Note: Voltage ratings are
line-to-line.

|
Load profile intervals can be setup to record energy consumption
from every 5 minutes to 60 minutes. This feature can be disabled if not
required. |
| Email Client
|
Emails can be dispatched at the end of every load profile interval
or periodically over hours. In addition, the meter can be setup to send a
report monthly, weekly or daily on energy consumption and demand data. Each
mail includes a report of the current demand, voltage, amps and power factor by
phase. |
| FTP Client
|
The FTP module operates similar to the email module. FTP, is
designed to offer load profile data with a summary of current consumption and
demand data. Each ftp file includes a report of the current demand, voltage,
amps and power factor by phase. |
| Web Server
|
Energy consumption, demand and load profile data can be accessed
directly using the on board web server. The web server also allows you to
configure mail, ftp, CT / PT ratios, Meter ID details, etc. |
| DHCP |
The meter can be setup to automatically acquire a leased IP address
from a DHCP server or be set to a fixed IP address. |
| SNTP |
The meter will automatically acquire the latest time from any SNTP
server. Default SNTP severs are provided but the user has the option to change
them. This setup is done via the web server. The SNTP server can be an Internet
or local SNTP server. |
| FTP Server |
The meter has a FTP server which is used to update new firmware
released by Energy Tracking. |
| SOAP WebServices Client |
The meter has the ability to report data directly using SOAP to a
WebServices Server. |
